“Femme”
Michele Serchuk is currently Photography Associate for
On Our Backs magazine and is regularly published
there and in Cupido (Denmark, Norway); she is
a featured photographer in the recently released On
Our Backs Guide to Lesbian Sex (Alyson) and Photo
Sex (Down There Press), in The Mammoth Book of
Illustrated Erotica and the upcoming Mammoth
Book of Erotic Women (Carroll & Graf).
Her work has also appeared in Penthouse, SECRET,
SECRET Fetish Photo Anthology 2, 3 and 4,
SECRET Extreme, Prometheus, The Spectator,
Girlfriends, Time Out NY, Libido,
Paramour, D/S, Masquerade, Pucker
Up, Marquis, and Bad Attitude, and
as cover art for books published by Cleis Press, Circlet
Press, St. Martin’s Press, Alyson Books, Virgin
Books, Masquerade, The Feminist Press and Haworth Press.
She has had solo exhibits at MBM Gallery and
Purple Passion/DV8 in New York City. She has
participated in group shows at Art @ Large Gallery,
Scott Pfaffman Gallery, Greeley Square
Gallery, and Sacred Body Art Gallery, and
shown at corporate venues at MTV, and Golin-Harris
International in New York City; she has also shown
at Mark Chester’s SexArt 5, and at the
Good Vibrations Photo Sex exhibit in San Francisco,
and participated for two years in Chicago’s Around
the Coyote Festival through Feitico Gallery.

Ms. Serchuk has brought her Photographing Passion
workshop to San Francisco, New York City, and Portland,
OR as well as a presentation on Erotic Photography
for Matrix and exhibit at the Libertine Ball
in Philadelphia.
Television and webcast appearances include Bob Berkowitz’
Naked NY and Gotham TV on NYC’s Metro
Channel, Minx on Pseudo.com, and the Bob Berkowitz
Show and BlondeeLive on Eyada.com.
Ms. Serchuk has upcoming exhibits planned for the 2004-2005
season at Aprhrodite Gallery in Philadelphia
and The Crucible in Washington, DC. She will
also be participating in the Seattle Erotic Arts
Festival this year. She is scheduled to present
at Shibaricon, and for the Wet Spot in
Seattle and Libido Events in Vancouver, BC this
May.
