To Paint the Nude:
The Challenge and the Obsession
Mina is a professional artist who specializes in the
challenging medium of watercolor. And she prefers the
equally challenging subject, the nude, because of the
complexity of human anatomy.
“I discipline myself to truly use my eyes and
mind to see the innumerable changes in light and color
on the life model. These intense observations are then
transformed into my distinctive and sensitive expression
of both male and female. I consider my paintings to
be a real portrayal of the most beautiful form in nature:
