Artist's Reception- Friday December 8th

"PERCEPTIONS"
Born and raised in a Northeast Kensington neighborhood
of Philadelphia. The fourth of nine children in a blue
collar, very Catholic family. An artistic, gay kid,
growing up in an atmosphere of sports, sports and more
sports. I chose to adapt rather than bleed. I stand
by my decision. Attended Hussian School of Art, a local
commercial art college, for four years. Worked in the
field, out of necessity, for two years freelancing.
Always knowing it was not my want. I have and always
will paint. It is part of my mental and physical makeup.
Judge it, my work, and you judge part of me. I like
a good heated discussion. The work here today is my
most resent. It is a reaction (an action?) of where
I am at this moment in time. My subject matter changes
while, hopefully the style is consistent. Like it or
not, you are seeing a little of me.
